Revert Scholarships and mentoring support

Although embracing Islam is an overwhelming experience of jubilation and joy, revert Muslims often face significant challenges during their journey. From being rejected by family and friends to dealing with becoming a part of a new and diverse community are common challenges. This can often be burdensome and lead to disillusionment with Islam.

Revert Support

Revert Muslims predominantly face challenges in three key areas: social, education and mentoring.

1. Social

In a time when Islam is widely misunderstood, embracing Islam can often lead to loneliness due to being ostracised by friends and family members.  Adopting a new identity and leaving behind a great source of strength and comfort can be incredibly testing for reverts.

2. Education

Being a Muslim requires certain obligations to be fulfilled. This can be an incredibly confusing time as a new Muslims will often be bombarded with different opinions about how to practice Islam and what is the best and preferred opinions. Only through learning one can take an informed and wise decision.

3. Mentoring

The journey of revert Muslims require certain adaptations to religious etiquettes (adab & akhlaq) and spiritual practices. This can also be very challenging and confusing at times. A friendly mentoring support can ease the journey and implement Islamic practices with wisdom and balance.
